KYB Verification published the KYB verification guides on kybverification.com. Jurisdiction pages name the office on file and say what that search does not prove.

TIN matching is an IRS process for payers who already have a name and TIN from the payee. A public search site cannot “verify an EIN” by guessing. If the customer will not provide the number, say the TIN check is incomplete.

KYB Verification is not a bank, FinCEN, or the IRS. A file we assemble is not a compliance certification.
